Photoshoots can be a surprising amount of work, but sooooo worth the effort! This is another one from the Sasserfraz Junkyard Shoot in January 2016 in Whitmann, Arizona. Here's what went into this one: After trying on numerous outfit and costume combinations, I brought my fans, along with four different looks and ended up getting photos of three out of the four. That's about what I expected for a day of shooting, but I always bring extra outfits, just in case. The junkyard would have been close to a 3 hour drive from where I live but I happened to be staying in Phoenix for another event so my drive one way was closer to 45 minutes. There's no sleeping in for a big shoot like this one! I did my own makeup, as I often do and also opted for full wigs so I could easily change my look at my car. Yes, I changed my outfits at (not even in) my car as changing in a port-potty isn't exactly practical. No biggie, I'm not shy. And for the most part everyone is respectable toward the privacy of others at these big shoots. So, once I'm dressed, I trudge from my car to where the action is, with my practical shoes on and my fancy shoes and a bottle of water in a bag. And my fans! Then I change into my heels once I'm at a good location. The one above was taken by Eric Molinar Photography, who lit smoke bombs for added effect. I absolutely love this photo. Once I felt like I had worked those enough, it was time to change into more of a pinup type of look.
This one is by Glen Az, whom I did not know well at the time but we had lots of fun and got a lot of great photos! He's a favorite of burlesque performers in Phoenix and Tucson, and takes beautiful videos of our acts at local shows.
Time for a lunch break! This shoot was so big they even had food vendors. I had barbecue!
For my last look I really changed it up and went with a goth/steampunk look.

The shoot went on until sundown but if memory serves me right I was done around 3:30 or so, which is long enough. I changed back into comfy driving clothes and drove back to my hotel, satisfied with having a very fun day meeting lots of photographers and creating interesting images!

The Legend of King Arthur
Performing my King Arthur act in my own production Rock Show - “These Go To 11”, last February at Surly Wench Pub! This is among my most favorite acts to perform! So much fun to show just a bit of my aggressive side along with some humor, all delivered with playful sensuality to Savatage’s rockin’ tune, Hall of the Mountain King.

A little bit country...
Modeling is so much fun, trying out a different look...
Loving' this photo by Amber St. Klaire, with the Catalina Mountains in the background! Thinking I need to post more photos from this fun day of shooting last February, worked with some really talented photographers!

Another fun cast photo! This was from Lady L'Creme's Honky Tonk Honeys Show last May at Surly Wench Pub. So, if you didn't get the memo, head on down to Surly Wench Pub on 4th Avenue every first Friday of every month for outstanding burlesque entertainment!

I need to express my gratitude to have performed in two wonderfully diverse shows last Friday.
I would like to thank Ziva Azraq and Darin Guthrie of Cabaret Boheme for having me as their featured burlesque performer of the evening! Their band “The Love Muscles”, along with the singers and the rest of the entertainment were spot-on, and it was such a thrill to dance while my sweetie Jacob Jakerson played guitar, pedal steel guitar, and banjo with them. And, the theater itself was the perfect venue for their variety show which also included comedy skits, a magician, and belly dancing!
Cabaret Boheme followed up with another show Saturday night at 7:30! KittenMinx LaFemme was their featured burlesque performer - she produced the second show of Friday night, Surly Wench Pub’s 13th Anniversary Show! Not only was there a tremendous turnout, the energy of the audience and performers was through the roof! So happy to have been a part of such a special evening! Big thanks also to Stephka VonSnatch for each and every First Friday Burlesque at Surly Wench Pub and congrats on 13 years of wonderful wenchness!
What ultimately made Friday night so fabulous was our dear Tucson audience - at both venues! And, there were a good number of people that came to both shows which blew my mind in the best way ♥ THANK YOU SO MUCH for supporting our lovely artistic community.
Tucson, I love you.
